Fender - Bassbreaker 15 Combo 230V EU

As one of the smallest members of the Bassbreaker family this small amplifier has a lot to live up to. This series of amplifiers is based on what might have happened in the 60's if Fender decided to go after the rock amp market instead of the country and blues players. This means more aggressive midrange, more gain and a more British like tone.

One Channel, So Many Options

Unlike some of the bigger models in the Bassbreaker line that are based on legendary Fender amps the 15 is a completely new design. This really comes through in its tri mode setup and how it can handle everything from soft crystal cleans to crushing high gain without any pedals.

The key to this is the three way mode switch that goes between low, mid and high settings. In low you get classic Fender clean tones although with a bit more midrange edge. In mid mode you start to get some great blues and rock crunch similar to old 60's gold piped amps. Finally high mode really lets you dig in with massive chords and soaring leads as you get in to a more modern sounding hard rock tone territory.

From Studio to the Stage

This amplifier has a bunch of features that make it perfect for both studio and live use. At 15w it is more than pokey enough to cut through a small band (possibly with the help of a mic for some mid-sized gigs) but still quiet enough to be used in studio or at home.

You can even completely mute the internal speaker and use the XLR out to run out to a speaker system or recording setup for silent use. Just add on some speaker simulation and you have a great way to use the bassbreaker at all times.
